Embark on a remarkable five night yacht charter, exploring the stunning landscapes of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Sail from Newport, RI to Block Island, Cuttyhunk Island, Hadley's Harbor, Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard, and Vineyard Haven. Discover natural wonders, indulge in fresh seafood, immerse in rich history, and experience the vibrant culture of this unforgettable coastal cruise.

Day 1: Newport, RI to Block Island Depart from Newport, RI and set sail towards the beautiful Block Island. Enjoy the scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the stunning coastline as you approach this charming island. Once anchored, explore the island's natural beauty, including the iconic Mohegan Bluffs and the Southeast Lighthouse. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in fresh seafood at one of the island's excellent restaurants.

 

Day 2: Block Island to Cuttyhunk Island Continue your sailing adventure from Block Island to the serene Cuttyhunk Island. This secluded island offers a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. Explore the island's pristine beaches, go fishing, or take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline. For a unique experience, visit the Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms and taste the delicious locally harvested oysters.

 

Day 3: Cuttyhunk Island to Hadley's Harbor Set sail from Cuttyhunk Island and head towards the picturesque Hadley's Harbor. As you anchor in this idyllic spot, take in the breathtaking coastal scenery and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Hadley's Harbor is known for its excellent fishing opportunities, so consider trying your hand at catching some fresh seafood. You can also explore the nearby nature trails and enjoy the serenity of the area.

 

Day 4: Hadley's Harbor to Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard Embark on a captivating journey from Hadley's Harbor to the historic town of Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard. This charming town is rich in maritime heritage and offers a variety of attractions. Explore the beautifully preserved architecture, visit the Martha's Vineyard Museum to learn about the island's history, and stroll along the picturesque streets lined with boutique shops and art galleries. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Edgartown Lighthouse and enjoy panoramic views of the coastline.

 

Day 5: Edgartown to Vineyard Haven Continue your yacht charter experience as you sail from Edgartown to the inviting town of Vineyard Haven. This vibrant town offers a laid-back atmosphere and a range of activities to enjoy. Visit the Vineyard Haven Harbor Cultural District, where you can explore art galleries, boutiques, and cafes. Take a leisurely walk along Owen Park Beach or rent a bike to explore the scenic landscapes of Martha's Vineyard.

 

Day 6: Vineyard Haven to Oak Bluffs, Quonset, RI On the final day, depart from Vineyard Haven and sail to Oak Bluffs. Disembark from the yacht and take an Uber to the ferry terminal in Oak Bluffs, where you'll catch the ferry to Quonset, RI. Before departing, explore the charming town of Oak Bluffs, known for its colorful Victorian cottages and the famous Flying Horses Carousel. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of Circuit Avenue, where you'll find unique shops, restaurants, and entertainment options.

Note: The itinerary is subject to weather conditions and may be adjusted by the captain for safety and optimal enjoyment of all passengers.

Package info

The charterer and client are responsible for providing the following:

  • Crew Gratuity: The charter package does not include crew gratuity. It is recommended to provide $100 to $150 per day per crew member, or a group gratuity of $200 to $300 per day. Cash in an envelope at the end of the charter is preferred, but Venmo is also accepted.

  • Alcoholic Beverages: The charterer (client) is responsible for supplying alcoholic beverages. Beverages other than water and a small soda selection are not included in the charter package. Bringing your own beverages (BYOB) is allowed and encouraged.

  • Dietary Restrictions and Allergies: The charterer and guests must inform the Owner and/or the Captain about any dietary restrictions or allergies at least 3 days prior to the charter.

  • Additional Expenses: The charterer is responsible for paying for any expenses not included in the package, such as restaurants, transportation to and from the boat, tours, excursions, and other costs that may arise during the charter.

  • Crew Meals: If the charterer takes the crew out to dinner, it is the charterer's responsibility to pay for the crew meals within reason.

 

 

Things to bring:

 

  • Sufficient clothing without excess, as storage is limited on a yacht. Include options for wet and cooler weather.

  • A bathing suit, a hat, sunglasses, and sun cream.

  • While a variety of snacks are provided on board, you are welcome to bring your favorite snacks if you have specific preferences.

 

What the Owner and charter package provide:

 

  • Fresh linens and towels.

  • Two crew members: a Captain and a Mate who share cooking and cleaning responsibilities.

  • Plates, cutlery, cookware, coolers, ice, glasses, and cups for the charter.

  • Provisions for three meals a day, including a light breakfast, sandwiches during racing and sailing, and dinner.

  • Water and Sodas.

  • Dockage and/or mooring fees included in the charter package.

  • Charter Registration and entry.

  • Insurance.
